Warframe: Nekros
Brief: Nekros with large Range
.
Primary traits:
Range
Main ability:
Desecrate
Optional mods:
Soul Survivor
Desecrate Nekros is a very straightforward build to play because it is only meant to amplify drops and serves no other purposes in a party. The Range
trait is the most important one since the area of amplification scales with the Range
. Simply hold the Desecrate
ability on at all times and avoid any damage.
Since the frame will not be doing much except avoiding the AFK timer by moving around, Soul Survivor
is a good optional mod that allows Nekros to remotely revive a fallen teammate.
The main problem with a desecrate Nekros is that every desecrated corpse will reduce the health of the Nekros such that Nekros is usually combined with a frame that can restore health such as Wisp or Protea. Intuitively, due to corpses or parts of corpses being desecrated, it is best to use slash damage when having a Nekros around in order to increase the chances that corpses will be desecrated instead of just being discarded.
One common mistake with Nekros is the tendency to use the Shadows of the Dead
ability that will resurrect some of the dead mobs to help fight alongside the party. Unfortunately, the revived mobs will take up part of the loot tables and occupy a slot thereby implicitly reducing the loot due to less mobs being spawned.
