About

The pet hardness consists in a handle and a collar and used to leash a pet such that it follows its own around while the leash is held. The underlying scripts are no different from the cuffs scripts and with the resize, rename and redescribe script added for convenience. Ideally, the combination would be most suitable for using a scripted agent such as Corrade along with an avatar to be leashed.

The style is blue-jeans denim, but the Photoshop PSD textures and templates are included in the export section.

Usage

In order to use the items, the pet shall attach the collar (in case of TWI wolves, the ideal is the Neck attachment point) and the owner shall attach the holder. The two will then synchronize automatically provided that both of the avatars are in whispering range ($\approx 5m$). Once both items are worn on the two avatars, a particle chain is constructed between the two linking them together. To unleash, the owner simply has to detach the holder.

In case the avatar wearing the collar wanders too far, the script will turn the avatar around and bring the wearer closer to the avatar wearing the holder. Similarly, when the avatar wearing the leash holder is walking, the avatar wearing the collar will follow.

Note that TWI wolves typically have a sound emitter attached to the neck slot and, in case Corrade is being used as a scripted agent, only one single attachment per slot is allowed such that the sound emitter could be moved to the Mouth attachment point whilst the collar from this product can be mapped to the Neck attachment point.
