Scott Cilley

After Corrade was published under an opensource license for about five years, Scott Cilley, an individual, self-described as the owner of an "opensource company" DevWorks OSI, that we have never seen before, joined our support group demanding that Corrade be made opensource again. He threatened that he would "reverse-engineer" Corrade and scoffed when we let him know that that would be considered plagiarism, irrespective of any other license violations. It is safe to assume that Mr. Cilley never managed to reverse-engineer Corrade but rather settled for posting some older version the Corrade bot online, along with some strange comments that will be dissected on this page.

Scott Cilley (Keldo on GitHub), self-described as "Retired Soldier, PHP Developer, Student and small business owner." (see screenshots) has described their interaction with us as:

"When the original developers were ask why this project was not on Github, I was told "What the Fuck do you care?" and then a few other choice anti american terms."

Customer [SL]: I think I remember this guy. He was very rude when his suggestions were declined. He bitched and moaned demanded to know why Corrade was no longer open source. She told him that had changed as of 10... I believe, and that the source code previous to was still open source and where to find it
Customer [SL]: It's one thing to ask a developer for features and wait until they are implemented and whole different kettle of fish to make demands without compensation, and rudeness never pays
Customer [SL]: She was not rude to him, at least not to start and the rudest thing she did was to ban him from this group and mute him

monk — 03/07/2023
it's just the license that changed
oh you know him by name?

Ectogram BOT — 03/07/2023
Customer [SL]: no. but I was in this group when he reared his ugly head... so to speak

Lance Lenoirre — 03/07/2023
the channel was shut down for a while, due to other matters, everyone got ejected...

Ectogram BOT — 03/07/2023
Customer [SL]: he came way before that

Lance Lenoirre[WAS] — 03/07/2023
there is always the alternative to shut down Corrade and send everyone to Keldo to make them a bot
was she racist? 🙂 did not get to know her much

Ectogram BOT — 03/07/2023
Customer [SL]: I like Corrade, the developer(s), and most of the users who offer advice
Customer [SL]: she most certainly was not
Customer [SL]: nor a culturist

Lance Lenoirre[WAS] — 03/07/2023
strange comment then
