The Guide consists of two devices: a helm and a foil.

There are multiple usage patterns due to the helm being a standalone item whereas the foil will always combine with the helm.

The helm can be activated or deactivated by clicking the collar. Once the helm is activated, and given that two or more avatars are wearing the helm, click the helms in order to match the colors. When the colors are matched, any avatar wearing the same color helm can control all the other avatars that have the same color helm.

The helm and foil can be worn together where the same usage applies to the helm yet the foil can be used to draw patterns by entering mouse look (mouse look can be typically activated by pressing the M key).

The Guide can be downloaded and recreated in-world from the following exports:

• was_the_guide_-_foil.oxp
• was_the_guide_-_helm.oxp

• Drawing with the foil has been adapted from the "Sky Writer" from "Fox Labs" but severely cut down.
• The stand pose used within the foil is by Ez Poses.
• The textures displayed whenever the foil or the helm reaches an unexpected state should be credited to flaticon.com with little modifications from Wizardry and Steamworks.
