Season 1, episode 9 of the TV show “Severance”, named “The We We Are” and released in 2022, one of the employees named Dylan makes it such that the people that are controlled by the Lumon company get a glimpse of their real lives, something they would not have otherwise known without Dylan playing this role, by clogging the machine and holding down two levers at the same time, on either side of the door in a computer room. In doing so, Dylan puts himself and his job in danger, as well as his perfect record as an employee of the company.
