Amiga accelerators have the tendency to get extremely hot while running. Unfortunately, many of the renowned Blizzard boards are mounted with the CPU facing the bottom trap-door such that it is impossible for the heat to escape the Amiga while it runs.
The Amiga trap-door has to be cut just above the CPU - one of the ways to get the extremities in order to have a reference while cutting is to use a bit of washable paint on the extremities of the CPU in order to get an imprint on the bottom of the trap-door.
After the trap door has been cut, a thin layer of wire-woven mesh is cut and applied over the newly created aperture. You can use instant glue, for example to hold down the mesh, especially if it is a transparent type of glue.
