Images

Usage

  • optionally, turn any animation overrider off,
  • attach the item and a kneeling animation should be activated such that the shrine reaches the ground,
    • optionally, right-click and edit the item in order to make the shrine lay flat on the ground,
  • click the shrine to set the text (280 characters),
  • drop textures inside the shrine and touch the picture frame to change the images

Design

The main scripts involved in operating the shrine are to be found inside the root of the object and one inside the picture frame.

Usually, picture frames are operating by dropping pictures directly onto the picture frame, however due to the shrine being attached to the avatar, inventory cannot be dropped inside the build.

In order to work around the issue, images can be placed directly into the root of the build and link messages are used to update the image on the picture frame. The protocol that is used to change the texture on the picture frame could be sketched as the following:

The rest of the design is kept very basic with scripts being just a minimal component of the build.
