In Colony Ship there's a sneaking sequence that starts by following a quest-line from a bystander in the main entrance of "Protectors of the Mission" plaza. The player is asked to copy some files on the premise that it will prevent a bloodbath and the quest starts at the far right end of the "Residential Decks" of the "Protectors of the Missions" tileset.
Here are some pointers that might or might not be that self-evident but they will make the mission easier:
the little known fact is that you can click the top-left name labels "guard" in order to make the camera zoom to the corresponding floor in order to observe in which position guards find themselves,
the guard patterns have to be memorized; this is not a time trial, so as long as it takes, the turn can be skipped with "end turn" while the guard patrol patterns are analyzed,
a cloaking device only lasts 2-3 rounds before the player is discoverable again which is just insufficient to reach the computer room on the first floor (and then you're stuck there due to the camera) such that using a cloak is irrelevant,
the visibility light indicator on each map tile is a great guide, from blue being utterly safe, through green being surely safe, to yellow meaning that a roll takes place and the player should not end the turn on a yellow tile and up to red which means surely detected,
walking on a yellow tile means a roll take place and the player might be detected,
ending the turn on a yellow tile means surely being caught
the visibility light on each map tile is sometimes counter-intuitive with a small tile on the second floor near the door being always "green" even though it looks like the camera on the opposite wall points right at it; reminder that there is no time limit, so feel free to "end turn" as many times as necessary in order to monitor the visibility light on the map tiles as the cameras and guards move around,
the loot in the rooms is not that impressive relative to the player level (some level 1 cloaking components,
