There is a sequel game called Far: Changing Tides.

Far: Lone Sails either opens up a new genre on its own or sets the standard for one, namely vehicle survival which, aside from rogue-likes such as Starbound, seems to be new. Due to appearances, the game unfortunately risks to be lumped-in with "yet another platformer" or "yet another sidescroller", even with artsy elements, that have been done to death in the past. However, the game is truly unique and a masterpiece from all perspectives.
