This project is about adding two cooling fans on the A1200 by tapping current from the floppy connector. The idea is to use a pair of fans that do not consume too much, and, the fans we chose are a pair of Dynatrons (small factor) rated 0.08A given a total extra load of 0.16A at 12V. The fans can be installed over the memory slot and fit nicely inside the shield above the internal memory.

Fans installed over the chip RAM - later moved over the accelerator.

The cable passes through the +5V lead and the ground lead and taps current from the +12V lead and the ground lead which is easy to accomplish:
